JOHOR BARU: Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has introduced a car-free initiative at its campus here in a move to reduce the carbon footprint and combat air pollution in the city.

UTM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Wahid Omar said that the programme would be implemented among its staff and students for a period of six months.
