Happy ending for old dog with tumours

Mammary gland tumours made it difficult for Scarlet to suckle her five puppies. Once all her puppies were adopted, Scarlet was admitted to a veterinary clinic where she underwent surgery to remove her tumours.(Left) Although old, Scarlet is now a happy and healthy dog.

WHEN SCARLET was rescued, she had just given birth on a five-foot way and was about to be picked up by council dog catchers.

Luckily for her, a volunteer with canine welfare project Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better (MDDB) caught sight of her and immediately rescued Scarlet.
