State to resolve rights issue amicably


The devolution of power from the Federal Government to Sarawak is now in the second phase, covering the priority issues.

KUCHING: The state government will use diplomacy to pursue its rights and status under the Malaysia Agreement with the Federal Government.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem said through diplomacy, Sarawak had achieved progress in its ongoing negotiations with the Federal Government as well as Petronas on devolution of power and oil and gas matters.
