THE Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph in the Esplanade, Penang, marked the sacrifices of heroes who had fallen but never forgotten.
Steeped in military tradition, the ceremony organised by the Penang Veterans’ Association (PVA), drew hundreds from near and far to pay tribute to those who had lost their lives in World War I, World War II, Malayan Emergency and other armed conflicts.
