Funds secured for temple upgrade

AFTER waiting for more than five years, Kuala Kangsar’s Hindu devotees will finally see their beloved Thirusula Maha Mariamman Temple being rebuilt.

Fulfilling a promise to the local Indian community during the recent Kuala Kangsar by-election, the Barisan Nasional government handed over a cheque for RM1mil to the temple committee last Saturday.
