JOHOR BARU: KTM Bhd (KTMB) and MMC Corp Bhd are in talks to expand and upgrade the rail line from Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) to the Pasir Gudang Port to ease traffic congestion and promote a more effective logistics system.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said his ministry had asked both parties to carry out a study on the expansion of the 77km railway to boost the state’s logistics sector and contribute to the nation’s economic growth.
