THE Perak government will continue to fight for a new policy on low-cost housing in the state, where the minimum built-up size would be set at 1,000 sq ft instead of the current 600 sq ft.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir stressed that he is unwilling to see Perakians in the lower-income bracket continuing to live in what he called a “pigeon hole” in reference to their cramped living space.
