Companies urged to pay royalties for using groundwater

ENTITIES using groundwater for large-scale commercial use are urged to pay the royalties due to the relevant state authorities before action is taken against them.

Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the use of mineral resources, including water, must be done in accordance with the law and royalty payments must be made.
