Origami cranes create two records

The sixth Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Awareness Campaign earned a spot in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) for having Malaysia’s largest and most number of origami cranes.

Measuring 3.35m in height, 6.55m in length and 2.28m in width, the reflective gold origami crane structure made from metal, wood and polystyrene took a month to make and two weeks to set up.
