KLUANG: During Hari Raya, many will try to have an elaborate variety of old-fashioned, traditional cookies in their cookie jars compared to the modern ones.
Among the traditional cookies are kuih bangkit, bahulu, kuih semperit, rempeyek, kuih makmur, tumpi, dodol and kuih koye, where these personal favourites have survived the test of time but would only be seen during festive celebrations.
