TEACHERS can no longer follow the old ‘chalk and talk’ method because schoolchildren are not passive learners anymore, according to the recipient of the Penang State Teacher Award 2016.

Khor Hong Yin, who was Penang Methodist Boys School principal from 2004 to 2010, said students now had better analytical, reasoning and communication skills.
