Johor farmers to plant 3,000 hybrid date trees

PONTIAN: Johor will have 3,000 hybrid tropical date trees covering about 14ha of land by the end of this year.

Asia RND Biotech Bhd managing director Hauzrun Shah Jefridin said that the trees would be planted in three different farms including Pengkalan Raja here, Kurma Empire Agro in Pekan Nenas and another one in Pagoh.
