An artistic tribute to Konark and Surya

The partnership between masters of their craft and inspiration as well as adoration for the legend that is the Sun Temple of Odisha brings photographer Prathap (left) and Ramli together to create a series of photographs.

IT IS impossible to be a dancer and not pay homage to Konark and it is also impossible to be a photographer and not be moved to photograph the homage to Surya.

That is what renowned Malaysian dancer Datuk Ramli Ibrahim told his friend, The Times of India principal photographer A. Prathap when the latter was about to visit Odisha for the first time.
