SUBANG Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) president Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan’s term has been extended for another year.

He officially retired on May 23 but resumed duties on May 25 after a mandatory one-day break.

Nor Hisham is known for his hands-on approaches and no-nonsense attitude.

On Monday, Nor Hisham reopened MPSJ Sports Complex, which was renamed MPSJ Arena, at USJ 5.

MPSJ community development department head Muhammad Zaki Yusoff said the complex was closed since December last year to install artificial turf.

The public can use the track from 6am to 9am on weekdays and 6am to 11am on weekends. In the evening, it opens from 4pm to 7pm daily.

The track is free for public use but rental fees apply for the football field.
