KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia’s largest and unique sea based conservation area has come into being in northern Sabah with the gazetting of the 900,000ha Tun Mustapha Marine Park.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the marine park named in honour of one of Sabah’s founding fathers and former chief minister, Tun Datu Mustapha Datu Harun, was gazetted on May 19.
