TANGKAK: The Government’s decision to reintroduce the Kejara demerit system is to educate the public to adhere to road safety rules, said Road Safety Department director-general Abd Ghafar Yusof.

He said there would be changes in the system to make it relevant to the current environment, adding that this also applies to drivers using their mobile phone while driving.
