Hospital holds forum to increase awareness on children’s hearing, speech and communication disorders

SUNWAY Medical Centre (SunMed) organised “Routines & Play: A Public Talk for Parents of Children with Poor Preverbal Skills’’ in conjunction with Better Hearing and Speech Month (BHSM), to increase awareness on the various hearing, speech and communication disorders and the treatment options available.

The talk on “Using Routines to Improve Language Development in Children” was given by SunMed’s Speech-Language Therapists (SLTs), Jessica Tharmapal-Dass, Christine Yu Lee Mei and Nawal Mohd. Shafie.
