KUANTAN: An assemblyman’s claim that there were two deaths caused by leptospirosis in Taman Tas here has been found to be untrue, said state Health, Human Resources and Special Functions Committee chairman Datuk Norol Azali Sulaiman.
He said the health department had investigated Sim Chon Siang’s (PKR-Teruntum) claim and discovered there were no reports of deaths related to the disease in the neighbourhood recently.
