Better welfare aid system needed

MIRI: Many needy people who deserve government welfare assistances are missing out on aid because of limitations in the outreach aspects, said Sarawak Welfare, Women and Community Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah.

The Welfare Department offices in the cities and towns in this big state were hampered by manpower shortage and could not cover every corner of society, she said.
