THE IPOH City Council spends up to RM150,000 annually to clean up piles of illegally dumped rubbish in the city.

Ipoh City Council Secretary Mohd Zakuan Zakaria said, the council cleared away some 7,318 garbage piles last year and is urging the public not to simply litter and create illegal dumpsites.
