Defaulters warned to pay up council summonses

A note like this will be stuck on the car, giving them 48 hours to pay the summons before the car is towed.

A DRIVER with over 307 traffic summonses recently had his car towed away after failing to pay the arrears despite numerous warnings from the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).

It was part of the council’s on-going enforcement exercise, initiated last year, to tow away vehicles with over 10 outstanding compounds.
