The passengers, a man and a woman, were rescued from the wrecked car, and sent to Universiti Malaya Hospital for treatment, and only suffered minor injuries.
Fire and Rescue Department personnel from the nearby Damansara station in SS2 led the operation to rescue the duo, which took about two hours and required a special crane to lift the vehicle wreckage out of the pit.
