Surveys to improve parking

A car clamped for parking illegally along Burmah Road in Pulau Tikus. Yap is proposing special lots be allocated for those parking for 15 minutes or less.

SURVEYS are being conducted in Pulau Tikus to obtain feedback on how to improve the Penang Island City Council’s (MBPP) parking system in the area.

Its state assemblyman Yap Soo Huey said the “extra” surveys would provide data on the parking needs and behavioural patterns of traders and customers in the commercial centre of Pulau Tikus, as well as Taman Midlands residents.
