Mall holds creative recycling contest


First-prize winner in the secondary school category_by Sekolah Seri Puteri Cyberjaya – a flower plant made of used egg cartons, plastic bottles, papers and dry twigs.

ALAMANDA Shopping Centre in Putrajaya joined forces with WWF, its retail partners, secondary schools and higher learning institutions in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of protecting Mother Nature in conjunction with the Earth Hour celebration.

One of its main activities was the Green Innovative Recycling Competition for secondary schools and colleges/universities to promote Earth Hour and to encourage recycling of used materials.
