CONTRACTORS working on a car showroom project in Jalan Tualang in Bukit Bandaraya, Kuala Lumpur, who ignored a gentleman’s agreement with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) not to carry out work until they sorted their paperwork, have been ordered to stop work immediately.
Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Mohd Amin Abd Aziz who heard from residents that the contractors had defied an earlier DBKL notice to stop work, ordered the site sealed and the workers to vacate the premises.
