Following the breakthrough success of the first two series of Young Malaysian Artists: New Object(ion) (YMA) exhibition, Galeri Petronas has launched the third edition of YMA which sees the debut of 39 outstanding young and emerging artists.
A bi-annual exhibition, YMA’s theme this year is “The Everydays” which focuses on how young artists individualise the mass culture, to change things, from utilitarian objects to passageway plans, to ritual, to law and language, to build their own identity.
