Rubbish collector attacked as a result of helping break up a fight

A RUBBISH collector fears for his safety after unknown assailants attacked him twice in relation to an incident earlier when he tried to stop a parang welding man from assaulting a stranger.

L. Kanicka Raju, (sic) 44, says he was having his supper at a restaurant in Menglembu on March 2 at about 11.45pm, when a stranger had asked him if he could share the table, as there was no other place to sit in the restaurant.
