Malaysians lose millions by becoming victims of online love scams

DESPITE numerous warnings to be careful not to fall victim to love scams, tales of people being conned out of their money continue to emerge.

In Perak alone a total of 134 cases were reported last year, with the total amount of money lost by the victims in the scams amounting to RM2.2mil.
