Institute ties up with furniture council to train locals in the industry

THE local furniture industry is a lucrative one, exporting more than RM8bil worth of products overseas since 2013.

However, Malaysia’s reliance on foreign labour in the past 20 years has caused a severe shortage in local skilled-workers.
