SPAD to track buses

Buses operating 241 routes in the Klang Valley will be fitted with a tracking device for SPAD to monitor. —filepics

THE next time your neighbourhood bus driver decides to take a detour, stop for coffee in the middle of his route, or fails to follow the schedule, be rest assured that action will be taken against the operator.

This is because their moves are being monitored by the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) from its Command and Control Centre (CCC).
