SEB warns of power cut in flooded areas

KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) is monitoring the current flood situation in southern Sarawak and will switch off power supply to substations in flood-affected areas if the water reaches danger levels.

The state utility said it was the practice to switch off electricity supply to affected areas without notice to ensure the safety of its customers.
