ABOUT 200 underprivileged Ipoh residents received Chinese New Year goodies from the Ipoh City Council.
Held at the Ipoh Town Hall last Friday, the Sekalung Budi Tahun Baru Cina (Chinese New Year Thanksgiving) event saw those present getting various contributions, including foodstuffs like Mandarin oranges, biscuits, towels, blankets and some cash aid in conjunction with the festive celebration.
