More owls for Subang

Three pairs of barn owls will be released after Chinese New Year and will be flying around with a radio telemetry equipment attached to their backs to enable researchers to track them.

THREE pairs of barn owls under the Barn Owl Project will be released after Chinese New Year.

Unlike the first two that took flight on Dec 23, these owls will be flying around with a radio telemetry equipment attached to their backs, like a “backpack”, to track their movements upon release.
