Export ban to benefit Sabahans

KOTA KINABALU: The state government's decision to suspend the export of fresh fish is viewed as "a very apt move" to ensure sufficient supply in the local market.

Sabah Fisheries Marketing Authority chairman Datuk Dr Jaujan Sambakong said the move was also seen as benefiting various parties, including consumers, restaurant owners and foreign tourists.
