Council implements mandatory pest control to prevent leptospirosis


Peter says it is difficult to eradicate the rats if other restaurant operators do not cooperate.

RESTAURANT operators are expected to use pest control services next year to curb the rat population in line with Kajang Municipal Council’s (MPKj) new move to prevent a leptospirosis outbreak.

MPKj is set to enforce this practice beginning Jan 1 to eradicate the rats transmitting the disease.
