How my child makes me so angry and so loving at the same time

Parenting is challenging. Loving a child is so very easy.

Ever since my youngest realised he has free will, he has been selective of hearing and slow to comply. I am a parent who issues few instructions. Barring the routine few – brush your teeth, get ready for bed, come on we've got to go – I do not nag and try to structure their every waking moment.
