Breakfast on a tray: 3 recipes to get you out of bed

Breakfast trays: A delightful treat for the special people in our lives.

We initially wanted to present “breakfast in bed” options for this month’s column since Mother’s Day is next week. But while discussing the shoot with our photographer, he casually mentioned that in Malaysia, the only time we’d have breakfast in bed was if we ended up in hospital!

Quite an apt observation, really, as typical Malaysian breakfast fare – nasi lemak, a steaming hot bowl of noodles or roti canai – when bed-bound, is a disaster waiting to happen.
