Dock Street Brewing Co's stout contains smoked brains.

You read correctly, smoked and roasted brains.

Here’s the backstory. Apparently, brewers over at the Dock Street Brewing Co. in Philadelphia are obsessed with the AMC show The Walking Dead, a post-apocalyptic horror drama filled with flesh-eating zombies (as if there were any other kind).

What better way to celebrate the show’s season finale, than to create a brewsky in its honour? The Dock Street Walker is described as an American Pale Stout brewed with wheat, oats, flaked barley, organic cranberries and smoked goat brains, which are supposed to lend the beer “intriguing subtle smoke notes”.

The cranberries were included to lend the beer a “sinister bloody hue”.

The beer will be released to coincide with the show finale on March 30.
