Hitler's 'rejected' art goes to auction, sells for RM540k

In the art world, it's common knowledge that when an artist dies, his work goes up in value – but this watercolour painting is not by just any artist.

[UPDATE (Nov 23, 2014): The 1914 watercolour painting Standesamt und Altes Rathaus Muenchen (Civil Registry Office and Old Town Hall of Munich) by Adolf Hitler was sold at auction for €130,000 (RM540,000), more than twice the projected figure of €50,000 that was predicted by the Weidler Auction House in Nuremberg, Germany. According to the head of the auction house  Kathrin Weidler, the buyer was a private client from the Middle East who attended the sale in person. She said there had also been inquiries from Asia and America.]
