Napoleon’s trademark hat conquers auction for RM8mil

Like its former wearer, a "bicorne" hat that once sat on the French emperor's head showed no lack of ambition when it commanded €1.9mil (RM7.97mil) at an auction.

Jean-Pierre Osenat of the Osenat auction house in Fontainebleau, near Paris, France, proudly confirms the sale of the black bicorne hat to a South Korean buyer in a sale of Napoleon Bonaparte-era items from the collections of the Prince of Monaco.
