A party brought together various elements that celebrated male elegance.
IT WAS a cocktail of fashion, gastronomy and mixology at a party by Elegantology, held recently at Poppy Garden in Kuala Lumpur.
Guests, including celebrities Patricia K, Joey G, Alan Yun and Xandria Ooi, came dressed in the purest of colours to the theme of White Elegance.
The party previewed the new menswear collections from three of Elegantology’s designers: Daniel Chong, Hayden Koh and Michael Ong.
Koh’s new collection is an androgynous take on casual and contemporary wear that both men and women can wear, while Chong showcased a collection of exclusive leather footwear and accessories.
In addition to previewing the new collections, which are currently available at Elegantology Gallery and Restaurant in Publika, KL, guests had a one-on-one styling consultation with Elegantology’s style advisors (or Elegantologists).
Bringing gastronomy into the mix, Elegantology chefs Johnny Fua and Sherson Lian cooked up delectable culinary creations, including Tarragon Mustard Lobster Bouchees, Sous Vide Chad Potatoes with Sour Cream and Caviar, Mini Mango Galettes and Twisted Parsley Breadsticks with Tomato Pesto Dip.
The canapés paired well with the pure cocktails of the night: Martell Summit and Martell Sidecar. The former is a refreshing mix of Martell VSOP and lemonade with a hint of lime and ginger, while the classic Sidecar combines Martell VSOP with triple sec and lemon juice.
Celebrating all things elegant, the party presented the Elegant Men of the Night award, sponsored by Martell. The six best-dressed guests, who best embodied the night’s theme, each received a RM200 voucher for Elegantology Gallery and a bottle of Martell VSOP Edition Nuit. The bottle is a redesign of the iconic Martell VSOP with a glow in the dark effect that alternates between light and dark depending on the surroundings. The limited edition bottle is currently only available in Malaysia.
Adding to the couture, cuisine and cocktails, DJ Zara Gift from Thailand and Malaysia’s DJ Faith provided the beats for the night.
