Endless movie fun for the kids (and adults, too)

Last chance for the kids to have some fun before school begins next week.

From now till June 14, Golden Screen Cinemas wants you to be a part of its Adventure Rox roadshows in selected GSC cineplexes. Besides watching some of your favourite blockbuster movies, don’t miss out on the fun-filled activities organised by GSC.

Join the Maleficent Flora Creations sessions to learn the art of balloon sculpting. To celebrate the June 12 release of How To Train Your Dragon 2, there will be events where you can learn to make masks and origami. Plus, pose with your creation behind a special photo wall.

While you wait for the June 26 release of Transformers: Age Of Extinction, test your skills at the Aiding Autobots Xbox game.

You can also get on Turtle Save, the Xbox game for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy does not arrive till July 31, but you can still have fun with the Infinity Orb Hunt game. Navigate a ball to safety by manipulating a maze in your hands.

To participate in these games and activities, simply present two paid movie ticket stubs, self-printed tickets or mobile app confirmation IDs at respective GSC counters. Stand a chance to win exclusive movie premiums, merchandise and even a HP printer.

GSC has also extended the groundbreaking audio technology, Dolby Atmos to GSC Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. This “3D sound system” represents a completely new platform for cinema sound.

With Dolby Atmos, filmmakers can now precisely position and move sounds anywhere in a theatre – even overhead – to heighten the realism and impact of every scene.

The first film to be screened at GSC Pavilion KL’s Dolby Atmos cinema hall is How To Train Your Dragon 2 starting tomorrow.
