American Hustle revolves around Irving Rosenfeld, a conman who is a little concerned with his receding hairline but is cocky and smart enough to pull off his thieving schemes in broad daylight. His mistress Sydney is also his partner in crime and just as adept at the game. Their victims never know what hit them, until one mark happens to be an FBI agent, Richie DiMaso (who has his own obsession with his hair). Richie then uses the couple to pull off a con that he hopes will nab some dirty politicians.
Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) considers his job as a US federal air marshal a routine one, and his latest flight from New York to London is just another day at the “office”. Once they are airborne, however, he receives a series of threatening messages, stating that a passenger will be killed every 20 minutes until $150 million is transferred into a secret bank account. Also stars Julianne Moore, Lupita Nyong’o and Michelle Dockery.
