America’s boy-next-door will meet his end in a special series.
This July, prepare to be shocked.
Well, at least if you’re an Archie Comics fan, that is.
The iconic comic book’s red-headed boy-next-door character Archie Andrews will finally be laid to rest in a special series called Life With Archie.
Archie Comics has been around since 1941 and features a group of teenagers – namely Archie, Jughead Jones, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle – going about their daily life in little town called Riverdale.
Over the years, the comic has undergone several changes in line with the progress of time. Some of the more controversial changes includes a drastic makeover in terms of the comic’s overall look (which, thankfully, was only published as a special edition digest series; this “new look” series ended in 2010), and the addition of a regular character named Kevin Keller, who is gay, in 2010.
