'The Goldfinch' by Donna Tartt is Amazon's book of the year


Khaled Hosseini’s And The Mountains Echoed comes second in the top 100 books of 2013 list by editors of the online retail giant.

AUTHOR Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch, a novel about a 14-year-old boy surviving in Manhattan after the death of his mother, topped Amazon.com Inc’s list of 100 best books of 2013. The list, released on Thursday, is compiled by editors at the online retailer.
