BALASINGAM Aruliah devoted decades of his life to toy trains. This obsession, which spans decades and continents, dates back some 60 years ago when he was only 17 years old.

His toy train story began when he sets his eyes on a toy train at Robinsons on Jalan Tun Perak, or Jalan Mountbatten as it was known then.
