Eduspec makes Kang deputy chairman


PETALING JAYA: Eduspec Holdings Bhd has appointed Datuk Kang Pang Kiang, who recently emerged as its substantial shareholder, as its executive deputy chairman.

On April 8, Kang acquired 24 million shares in Eduspec, increasing his direct ownership to 5.1%.

Including his indirect stake of about 7.01%, Kang now holds a total of 142.26 million shares or 12.11% stake in the company.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Eduspec said Kang has vast experience in providing auditing, tax consultation and business advisory services to various clients including multinational corporations.
