Raya campaign gets RM386mil bookings for SDP

PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Property Bhd (SDP) has registered bookings for 379 property units worth RM386mil in gross development value (GDV) during its April 1-May 31 “Raya Bersama” campaign this year.

In a statement, the property developer said 60% of the units with GDV totalling RM233mil were new launches and the remaining 40% were existing products with a GDV of RM153mil.

“The properties are mainly located in SDP’s sought-after townships in the City of Elmina, Bandar Bukit Raja and Serenia City.

“SDP’s exceptional product take-up during the ‘Raya Bersama’ campaign during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri period is a clear demonstration of homebuyers’ loyalty and trust in the brand,” it said.

Its chief marketing and sales officer Datuk Lai Shu Wei said the company is striving to give an exceptional homeownership experience, build resilient communities and lead customers on a path of fulfilment and happiness as a pioneering property developer.

“We believe that our campaign has enabled customers to take the first step towards homeownership this year,” he said. —Bernama
