BDB secures RM204mil maintenance job


PETALING JAYA: Bina Darulaman Bhd’s (BDB) wholly owned subsidiary, BDB Infra Sdn Bhd, has secures a road maintenance contract worth RM204mil from the Kedah state government.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, BDB said the road maintenance project would run for 36 months from May 15, 2023 till May 14, 2026, and involve works at the Kota Setar, Padang Terap/Pokok Sena, Kubang Pasu, Pendang, Yan and Sik districts.

The property and construction group expects the contract to contribute to earnings for the financial years 2023 to 2026.

BDB Infra is a G7 Grade contractor with close to 50 years track record in road and quarries maintenance and construction works in the northern part of Malaysia.
