Minetech secures RM2.56mil roadworks project

KUALA LUMPUR: Minetech Resources Bhd has announced its wholly-owned subsidiary Minetech Construction Sdn Bhd has been awarded a roadworks and drainage project valued at RM2.56mil by OSK Property Holdings Bhd's unit, Aspect Synergy Sdn Bhd.

In a statement, the group said the project, which is part of phase 3 of Taman Iringan Bayu in Seremban, commenced on May 9, 2023, for a period of four months.

Minetech executive director Matt Chin said the project adds to the support the civil engineering division brings to the group as it will also utilise assets under the bituminous products division, the group's other main contributor to revenue.

"We remain cautiously optimistic of the outlook and will continue to seek projects that can utilise the assets of our main contributing divisions while at the same time focus on building up our new ventures in financial technology and renewable energy that have long-term growth and can provide recurring income," he added.
